You’ve decided to bring your dog to the wedding ceremony, we can’t wait! Here’s a fun idea on how to include your dog. Give them a job! Decide on a role that best fits their obedience level and personality. Some puppy jobs include pup of honor, ringbearer, or even a flower dog. With this in mind, it’s best to designate a guest or family member to help out. However, if that isn’t an option, there are actual dog babysitters! They will supervise your pup for the duration of the day. This includes picking up your little companion, get them groomed and dressed for the big day, driving them to and from the ceremony and reception, and even back home!

Here comes the real tearjerker, you can have your dog as a witness to sign your marriage license! Yes, you heard that right your dog can be the OFFICIAL wedding witness. All your dog needs to do is dip their paw in an ink pad and drop that paw print onto your marriage certificate

This can be as elaborate as a doggie wedding dress or a tuxedo. If your pet isn’t into outfits, you can also get them a cute collar maybe one with a bowtie or a veil. Want to get creative? Ask your florist about adding some flowers to their collar that will match your bouquet!

Who doesn’t love a good drink? Having a signature cocktail named after your pet is seriously the cutest thing ever! Not only that, coming up with a signature drink that best fits your dog is such a fun process. For example, you can really start to think of their personalities traits that we love so much about them. Are they strong like a martini, or fun like a margarita? Additionally, you can even have custom made napkins with your dog on it pairs perfectly with a drink, and it will be the talk of cocktail hour!

There are endless cleverly named signature drinks inspired by puppies. For instance, “The Archie” that was an old fashion and “The Max” that was an espresso martini. One of our favorite drinks was inspired by a super cute dog named Bingo. His signature drink was “The Bing-jito” for a mojito! If a drink really isn’t your thing, you can also name the bar area after your dog, such as “Stanley’s Tavern” or “Sadie’s Bar.”

When I tell you we died seeing these socks, we really mean it. Having your dog on your socks is a cute and creative way to pay homage to your little friend. There are also other ways to rock their little faces like getting your dress embroidered or having them on your pocket square.
