Danielle & David tied the knot on October 5th, 2024, in the enchanting setting of Balboa Park, San Diego. Their celebration unfolded at The Prado, a historic and elegant venue that perfectly complemented their special day. From a heartfelt ceremony to the lively reception, the couple’s single-day event was certainly a seamless blend of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
At first, Danielle & David envisioned a coastal wedding. Until the couple fell in love with Prado’s charm. As their planner, I was captivated by the venue’s stunning back patio, where the reception unfolded beautifully. The European-inspired architecture and intricate ceramic details, added a timeless elegance that made their wedding truly unforgettable.

COASTAL WEDDING | CEREMONY
We began designing a breathtakingly delicate aisle lined with soft, white seashells and a lush carpet of coastal flowers. We honored the groom’s mother by weaving her favorite cabbage roses into the floral design. The result was a sophisticated and soothing ambiance, creating a romance-infused haven for the couple’s celebration.

COASTAL WEDDING | RECEPTION
The reception design was a breathtaking blend of coastal wedding elegance and personal touches. The monochromatic tablescape featured sea-inspired elements like shell-shaped candles, coral accents, and white roses nestled among glowing candlelight, creating a serene and romantic atmosphere.
The cake table was crafted onsite with concrete and stone elements, adding a unique and modern touch to the décor. The groom’s sister made the wedding cake, making this stunning centerpiece even more meaningful.
Lastly, Danielle & David added a fun and unique twist to their late-night reception with an ice cream cart and a talented caricature artist. These interactive elements brought an extra layer of entertainment to the evening, keeping the celebration lively and engaging for everyone till the last moment!
