This Saguaro national park micro-wedding will definitely have you consider having a micro-wedding in a national park. The drive through saguaro national park was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been, from the rolling hills, winding roads, and mountains to the vast amount of cacti’s and prickly pears. Even living in the desert, myself I have never seen that many cacti’s in my entire life!

Getting Ready

C & C got ready at the Joshua Tree House (JTH) in Tucson, Arizona which is just one of the many locations they have. From the marvelous architecture of the buildings and the texture on the walls to the custom fireclay tiles that really tied in the vibe of this place making it a beautiful desert oasis that surrounded the Saguaro National Park. Oh, how could I forget the monarch butterflies that were literally flying around the entire grounds!

Having an outdoor wedding in a national park can be a badass adventure for you and your guests, but sometimes a little tricky especially if cell service is a hit or miss. For this reason, we would definitely recommend booking transportation for all of your guests to ensure everyone finds the spot!

Newlyweds

Newlywed photos are literally my favorite! There is nothing more romantic then venturing off and exploring all that is around you and capturing it elegantly in a photo. Fun fact, did you know that Tucson, Arizona is home to the nation’s largest cacti like the saguaro. The saguaro is a tree like columnar cactus species that can grow to to be over 12 meters tall.

Reception

In the meantime let’s take a moment to talk about this stunning reception. These colors of terracotta, sage, ivory and gold go so well with the colors and elements of the desert. Having a full on reception in the middle of the desert is such a unique experience. For not only you, but the guests as well, and there are endless possibilities to make it elegant.

This Saguaro National Park Micro-Wedding was seriously a one of a kind reception, and if you could’ve only seen the amount of stars, your jaw would drop because mine did! It was truly stunning. There were lawn games and a campfire for s’mores. And to keep with the retro boho style, there was even an airstream photobooth, talk about chic!
