Adventurous elopement in Canyonlands National Park? Sounds good to me! In the beautiful Utah canyons these two eloped with just their closet love ones. It was truly such a magical day for these two. Talk about a freaking amazing couple. Mackenzie & Sam were truly soulmates. It was an absolutely pleasure helping to create this perfect day for them.
We started the day getting ready at one of the most perfect places near the two parks! Moab is a pretty big area & there were tons of locations but the Under Canvas location felt perfect. They have top of the end glamping experiences & it defiantly was just that!
They both got ready with their best friend & parents.
These two still got to experience all the special moments of your traditional wedding day. An elopement doesn’t mean we have to skip out on the important moments in life!
One of my favorite traditional parts of a wedding day that I always make sure is captured is the first look! This is when you get to see your significant other for the very first time. All glammed up & ready to get married!
This isn’t only with your spouse.. But also parents too!! Mackenzie did a first look with her dad & it truly was such a happy moment. Giving her the final hug & kiss as his little girl.
For ceremony we headed out to one of the permitted locations in the park to get married! There are only a few locations in Canyonlands/Arches National Park so making sure you file early is super important! We were lucky enough to get one of the most beautiful locations in the park. Cheers to outdoor adventurous elopement!
The Sand Dune Arch was perfect for this intimate ceremony. What was also great is that it was shaded for our permit ceremony time! Usually you want to have your ceremony & bridals take place during sunset but! It all worked out in our favor.
Because the Sand Dune Arch has a very shaded beautiful natural made arch their ceremony turned out perfect. This was just the beginning of the most perfect day.
After enjoying some much needed lunch we headed back into the park to take more bridals around the area. We stopped at so many iconic locations. Truly my mind was blown being able to see these red rocks in real life.
These two got to head out to some of the most gorgeous locations in the park. From the windows arch to delicate arch. We really got to explore some of the most unique & beautiful places in the entire world.
The cake was one of a kind! A vanilla, strawberry filled with cream cheese icing. YUM.
It was hand designed by one of the best bakers in the west coast!
To sharing the last dance of the night together to eating some yummy s’mores. This night ended beautifully. I couldn’t be more happy for these two. This was a night to freaking remember! Cheers to these two!!
